Sleepy Hollow Resort opens

for the 2013 season on May 24!

Welcome to Sleepy Hollow Resort! Owners Kirk and Mari Petersen will be in their third year of owning and operating the resort. The summer of 2012 saw a Good fishing

season full of fun and good fishing by their growing list of satisfied visitors. They truly enjoyed the friendships developed and hope that you will be able to schedule a repeat trip to Sleepy Hollow. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to experience our resort, we encourage you to check out what we have to offer and make plans for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway.

Sleepy Hollow is a family resort with eight modern smoke-free cabins ranging from one to three bedrooms, ten full hookup Bathing Beauties! RV sites, and tent camping sites. Sleepy Hollow Resort is located in the Chippewa National Forest on beautiful Island Lake in Northern Minnesota. Island Lake is a 3,089 acre lake located just off State Hwy. 46 near Northome, Minnesota, in Itasca County. Island Lake is a top rated fishing lake with excellent structures producing large numbers of walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, and perch. The maximum depth of the lake is 37 feet.

In addition to the excellent fishing on Island Lake, there is a wide variety of activities in the area to satisfy vacationing interests of all ages.
